I am out most of this week for testing, but that doesn't mean you get to check out:-)).

Last, but certainly not least, you have a blog due by the end of class on Monday.  Your blog should be a reflection of what you thought of the film.  Please include your favorite part and why?  Would you have been as resilient? Why or why not? Remember to reply to your row.

I will begin checking/taking (a copy) of your checklists on Wednesday, October 29th.  These checklists should be signed by your parents, as well as initialed by the both of you for areas that are complete.  If an area or application cannot be addressed until a certain date, that date should be noted on the checklist.  If SAT or ACT is required to apply, you must have signed up to take them and note the date of the test.  All possible areas should be addressed and initialed by YOU AND YOUR PARENT and TURNED IN BY
OCTOBER 31ST!!!  The whole point of this assignment is to get you and your parents on the same page and communicating about college and the application process.  DO NOT MISS YOUR DEADLINE!

DUE BY TOMORROW, OCTOBER 9TH!!!

Blog about what was most surprising about your budget.  What did you expect? What did you not expect? Are you ready for all of that responsibility?  Were there any realizations? Last, what can you do now to prepare for those expenses later?

Remember to respond to your row.  Give them good responses, please.  Take the time to consider what they wrote and respect them enough to respond with consideration.

October 9th- October 15th

Alright guys! Now it's time to get serious! You need to really think and figure out your top 3 schools.  When you have narrowed down the list (4 is acceptable but 2 IS NOT), you need to take a look at their admission process and make a checklist for ALL things you need for EACH college.  I have provided more info for you...READ IT! Don't ask me questions until you have.  This is a "college-based" course and YOU are the leader.  I have even provided an EXAMPLE so there isn't much to ask.  These checklists are due a week from today and must EACH be SIGNED by a parent/guardian.
